A series of the 27 nakshatras

Today we begin a series on the 27 nakshatras, exploring their meaning, the planet that governs each one, the deity associated with it, the strengths they hold, and also the possible shadows—where one might fall or become imbalanced. We also include the four padas, which are the four divisions of each nakshatra and correspond to specific signs in the D9 (Navamsa) chart.

Feel free to ask questions, or to share your own insights and learning along the way. Each day, we will post one new nakshatra—the one the Moon is passing through that day—beginning with the first nakshatra of the zodiac, Ashwini in Aries.
