Commitment Quote - W.H. Murray, a Scottish mountaineer.
A Quote :
"Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back. Concerning all acts of initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: That the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence commits too.
All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issue from that decision, raising in one's favor all matter of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no one could have dreamed would have come their way.
Whatever you can do now or dream you can do now, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Begin it now with a faithful and full heart."
This quote has me reflecting on where I have hesitated in my life and the unfoldment due to the lack of commitment.
It also has me reflecting on where commitment was paramount and how that allowed Magic and Providence into my life and the outcomes from that.
I am look at how I step forward in life holding commitment in the fore front and looking at what to let quietly slip away.
