Video Tip: Less Memorizing, More Flow
I use an app called PrompterPal to help me record videos while reading from a script.
I used to write on paper, or have a word document open nearby...but my voice started to sound robotic, like I was clearly reading from something
So instead of trying to memorize everything, I just write down key points or phrases I want to hit, and punch it into PrompterPal. It keeps me more present and natural on camera.
Sometimes I’ll ask my husband to stand behind the camera so I can look directly into the lens while still feeling like I’m talking to a real person.
And if he’s not there… I’ll literally use a stuffed toy 😂
(It works way better than you’d think.)

LOL - I used to make an audience from things like teddy bears to present to when prepping for an in person group
Hahaha 😂 that's so sweet! Did you pause for questions too?
