What is the true identity?
A student shared this after the 9th Nirvan lesson:
”Wow!! When master said 'the real identity you can form is the identity that you're doing this'
It was a let go moment for me. Felt so much lighter. Such a beautiful moment.
I just need to rely on the part that did not quit & remember that the only identity is the me who is undertaking this effort.”
It reminded me of another moment when I was struggling to commit to do this work;
”Why can I not commit deeper?!”
And then I heard Master Vimal say;
”Can you find a space within you who is willing to commit?”
That was a wow to me. It was not the I, Erik, in me who was to commit. It was a space in me that was to commit. And that was not as difficult to find. And … maybe a space is not doing anything, but things can happen in a space?
