I've been working on a platform to share more from the sources where I am learning about discovering one's true being, to live this life out to the fullest, to come to one's fulfilment. Now we try this concept: 19 minutes of a study, which is also kind of a guided meditation, and then we sit silently for 5 minutes.
For anyone who wants to, afterwords we'll have a live discussion …

Follow along to discover the best us, inspired by this quote by Dhyan Vimal.
“All that is needed is to allow the best of us no matter how big or small to shine through us, and to understand that is the best and only way to say we love.”
Why would we not live this way?
Let’s see if we can expose what is in the way and be liberated from it.

But is it?
And if not, why - what is taking us away?
I’m writing a paper on the topic now, and my main hypothesis is that the main reason for the lack of this wisdom is a misunderstanding. A lack of clarity in almost all of humanity.
What do you think?

This quote has been popping up on my phone from time to time over the years. Though it comes from Master Vimal, J. Krishnamurti stated the same understanding — that the thinker and the thought are one and the same. That two such sources point to the same truth perhaps says something about the importance of this inquiry.
It's one of those quotes where I sometimes feel I kind of get it — and sometimes feel I don't. Which obviously proves I haven't got it. 😉
When in …

By fighting against something - I suppose I'll be just like what I am fighting against...
But look at this way of explaining the rebellion (slide 5).
Wow...

Yesterday we had a work meeting with the Master. A good flow from earlier that day was totally gone. I almost froze. Even though I was genuinely interested in the subject — how to incorporate the Nirvan Method and online meditations into Pivot …

Ever since I met Master Vimal more than 10 years ago, he has been emphasizing the importance of no-mind — to just be, to witness, to not overthink.
There is a growing longing to simply sit around him in silence. But, Master keeps speaking almost all the time.
I kind of understand that we, as disciples, may need it to stay focused. Almost as one can hear Master:
“Come on, guys, don’t drift away now. Stay here, stay focused.”
“ABC.”
“Don’t lose this moment.”
“Erik, you’re taking off again. Don’t try to …

In the evening, an elder gentleman alerted us that his oxygen machine was not working, that it was not pumping air to him, which he needs. It’s critical for him to keep his oxygen levels up.
Very quickly Master and a few of us were inside his room, and we could see that, yes, no air was coming through the machine. Immediately, we brought in another machine and …

The pain of making it all about me must be known well and met and stayed with and felt. Awareness is born in meeting. Not clinging, not wishing it was not there - which is also clinging.
”This is a sexual primal mechanism,” Master says.
Which means I cannot help it being there. But I can be unreduced by it, but then I must be more than it, and I suppose I can only be more than it if I am aware of all of it …

If I don't uphold anything more - it could be Beauty, Joy or That which does not change - then I'm afraid I am only upholding the self of Erik and reducing everything to myself. And then I cannot be naked, because I'm walking around with this Erik and doing Erik everywhere.
And then Master added that when upholding, one can observe how the self wants to come in and reduce all to where …

Two students were sharing about the same quote by Master:
"in the world but untouched by it"
And they related it to the wish for "life to let oneself out", not to be trapped by karma I guess...
And this finally gave me a bit of an understanding of that expression about life letting us out. Until now I have been hoping for it to happen, as if life is bigger and I am smaller and as if life is an authority. …

”Wow!! When master said 'the real identity you can form is the identity that you're doing this'
It was a let go moment for me. Felt so much lighter. Such a beautiful moment.
I just need to rely on the part that did not quit & remember that the only identity is the me who is undertaking this effort.”
It reminded me of another moment when I was struggling to commit to do this work;
”Why can I not commit deeper?!”
And then I heard Master Vimal say;
”Can you find …

”Yesterdays meditation was important to me.
Understanding that first I must be, I must exist for real - not as a reflection, only then the state of nirvan - nakedness - is possible.
I have been such a perfectionist, thinking there should not even be a trace of mind for me to be for real. But now it sounds like the being is just a beginning…”
My thoughts on this:
I was grateful for this sharing. It reminds me of my own struggle of purification. That when coming to the being, it’s not in any …

“Can you be in a state of helpless, but not collapsed?” the Master asked.
“Hm. That sounds almost like I am not looking for help at all, as if getting help or not getting help is not even a reality?” I contemplated aloud, ending with a question.
“Yes, you could say that,” the Master replied.
This could change things quite a bit. I have understood that as long as I am looking for help and support …

It can be stated as a method but it's more than a method, it's a state of personal being or a state one wakes up to be, which is the key to all.
All other techniques are most often a mind placed on oneself subjecting oneself to a conditioning or a mind, and this is the error that happens in the name of meditation.”
