A Study into the Resistance to Birth Ourselves
This carousel is related to a discussion with Master from the June Celebration Retreat this afternoon.
The part of us that resists transformation isn’t broken, it’s communicating something to us about readiness. It can show up in four places: the body, the emotions, the mind, the behavior. Each one leaves clues, and underneath all four it’s often protecting the same thing: the self we know.
Forcing past it tends to make resistance stronger.
Acknowledging, giving it space and time it tends to help.
And every time we meet it with compassion, our capacity to be present grows.
