Vulnerable Child, Parent, Protector: the modes a schema runs

When a schema is activated, several modes come online at once. The Vulnerable Child holds the original need. The Parent Mode delivers the inherited criticism. The Coping Mode manages the pain by surrendering, detaching, or overcompensating, which is how we go absent.

The Healthy Adult is the mode that can hold them all and stay present. Growth is strengthening that one until it leads.

Consider for yourself which mode is in operation, and who is the one that can see it?

Excellent examples of Schemas----Master's affected states and reduced states--in my work they are then desensitized, reprocessed and integrated---who is the one witnessing that?
