NRITYA DHYAN
Meditation through movement and expression.
In the Natya Shastra, Nritya is the sacred union of Adavu (rhythmic steps) and Abhinaya (expressive language of the body and face).
Nritya Dhyan uses this union as a tool to quiet the mind, awaken awareness, and reconnect the human to their inner consciousness.
It is presence in motion.
A path to awaken the human — from within.
NRITYA DHYAN
Led by Devi Letchmanan
I have been learning and performing Indian Classical dance and music since the age of 7, and I know there is something more to be experience through this art form. A tool to see the more of an individual. My meeting with Master in 2018, started creating path and in 2020 I presented Solo dance performance - Kannamma-The Embodiment of Six Rites - a spoken words dance performance, introducing Master's 6 rites. Master's talks, meditation, books and lectures is where I find my Home.
KANNAMMA: The LOVE is more than a dance production. It is a journey of discovering a love that transcends self and embraces humanity.
Come and join us. Witness the story, feel the music, experience the Natya, and celebrate the Love we are.

Vācikaṁ sarva vāṅmayam
Āhāryaṁ candra tārādi
Taṁ numah sāttvikaṁ śivam
This is a invocation in Bharatanatyam and other Indian classical arts.
Meaning
“I bow to Lord Shiva,
whose body is the entire universe,
whose speech is all language and literature,
whose ornaments are the moon and stars,
and who embodies pure peace and divinity."
It is often recited before dance performances to remind the artist that dance is a sacred offering, not merely entertainment.
The deeper purpose is not just prayer, but to bring the oneself into a state of awareness, humility, and presence.

Yesterday, was a moment I recollected myself again, received a clarity from Master, about the heart that which wants to live out and how it's trapped in the survival circle.
Acceptance of how difficult it is, but it's possible if the direction is to the highest possibilities.
Reminded me of how it all started...
2012 - when separation was hitting hard, I sat in Buddhist temple, asking BUDDHA himself, 'what I should, show me a path' that I …

We set a Scale (tanpura strings) to keep us aligned while reciting.
My self-reflection:
1. Not easy being aligned in a group but it's possible
2. Consciously reminding that I am an AFFECTOR
3. In Aloness - I understood Love
4. In Aloness - I understood relationship
5. Able to establish A-B-C
The world is as it is- what am I and what I am becoming / being as …
