Insights from the treatment room #3

We can work with the best practitioners in the world, but if our system isn’t available to receive and integrate the work, even the most skilled intervention won’t land. From this perspective, my work is only as effective as the person in front of me is able—or willing—to allow.

Over the last few years, I’ve been developing a protocol designed to help us access a more parasympathetic state so one can receive and integrate the work done together. Ultimately however, the choice has to rest with the other. Whether someone accepts or declines what is offered is entirely, and always, their freedom—it’s my responsibility to respect and protect this dignity.

So what happens when someone is unconsciously, not able or not willing to receive any work? In my experience, this shows up in roughly 95% of chronic pain cases. Understanding why this block exists can be the turning point that makes healing possible. And the “why” is always unique—shaped by a person’s history, physiology, beliefs, and experiences.

Muscle testing has become one of the most valuable tools in pointing towards a direction to begin this exploration. It helps us access the body’s deeper responses, opening a doorway to the underlying patterns that may be preventing growth and transformation. From there, real healing can finally begin.
