Conscious Living Community
The Pivot Point is an invitation to participate in the transformation of humanity. An invitation to create our world consciously personally and collectively.
Conscious Living Community
Led by The Pivot Point
The effort on the Pivot Point is to play a role in humanity consciously choosing the direction they want to live out. It is an effort to wake humanity to become more conscious in the choices we make, and by that we participate in the creations that unfold by us.
What I keep running into is this: Can my “resistance to change” mostly be my nervous system reacting to unfamiliarity itself?
Which made me curious — if the brain is already rehearsing futures every day through worry and anticipated failure… could it also learn to rehearse possibility?
And could repeated exposure to unfamiliarity — even imagined or through learning something new — gradually help the nervous system become less defended against the unknown?

To be with me
to be with each other
the wish for all to be as it can be
must be lived
for the force for what can be
must be strongest then the force that
forces to keeps us limited
one must embody it
one must embrace it
one must celebrate it
one must give ones life to it
for only then one will survive
and thrive to be what is that can be
a life lived
for the dark force is that which prevents the light
to come to be
for when the light comes …

Step into a quiet, early 20th-century lecture hall and meet Alfred Adler — the pioneer of Individual Psychology.
Warm yet uncompromisingly sharp, Adler breaks down his most liberating philosophical concepts, reframing how we understand our past, our relationships, and our freedom.
Five lessons from Individual Psychology:
• Your past does not dictate your future (Teleology)
• The danger of seeking approval (Denial of Recognition)
• Untying the knots of interpersonal conflict (Separation of Tasks)
• Redefining what it means …

He said it would make him self-conscious the next time on stage.
Modern psychology suggests there was something deeply intelligent in that instinct.
When attention shifts from the experience toward monitoring ourselves inside it, flow begins to break.
The mind starts asking:
“How do I look?”
“Am I doing this right?”
“How am I being perceived?”
And just like that — we’re no longer inside the moment. We’re evaluating ourselves.
Awareness is different:
“What does this moment need?”
“I’m excited.”
“I see them dancing.”
That keeps us in.

shapes what it notices, expects, and believes is possible.
The nervous system can learn survival.
It can also gradually learn safety.
12 seconds at a time.

Osho points somewhere deeper: perhaps the material used to build that self was borrowed from others who were themselves borrowed.
So what’s actually underneath?
The dissolution of that constructed self can feel terrifying. Like freefall with no floor.
Maybe this is why the presence of Masters who have crossed that threshold matters — not as a crutch, but as evidence for the nervous system that the other side is not annihilation.
It’s actually where something else seems possible — …

Our environment shapes us — not just our habits, but our nervous systems.
Social neuroscience researcher Elaine Hatfield found that we literally sync with the people around us — heart rate, mood, even cortisol levels. We’re wired to resonate.
So the space we’re in matters. People creating, cheering each other on. Just making things together. 🧡

*From the post:
Our brains lie to us thousands of times a day.
This image proves it.
The lines are perfectly straight… but most of us swear they’re bent or wavy.
Even more interesting: if you tilt your phone sideways or look at the image from an angle, the straight lines suddenly become easier to see.
Our perception changes with perspective.
That’s because our brains are constantly trying to interpret patterns, fill in gaps and “correct” what they think they see — instead of simply observing what’s actually there.
And our minds often do the same thing …

The teaching is rich. And I noticed that with the mind I have — still caught in its own blindness and buffers — reading and listening alone sometimes is still difficult for me to receive the words.
So I went looking for something that might help me go beyond my own buffer and receive the teaching more fully.
One of the tools I found helpful is Google’s NotebookLM.
By importing the lectures which remains private like in a private Google Drive, I can ask questions and bring …

Until this is undone, one will fall back to what one has been conditioned and programmed. In the ancient times, the truth of Satsang is the effort to be unconditioned.
For this one simply sits quietly observing oneself in the presence of someone who is free, in that the conditioning disappears, one is restored to the original impulse, and by that moves to what will actualize them. So the …

To offer DV Nirvan Method to everyone interested, sitting as one of them - for my Guru said that’s the only way I can offer it to myself.
2. What is my meditation?
Me staying Nirvan with me, being a part of the More.
3. What am I doing for me?
Allowing me me - giving me some extra time (and some chocolate 🍫, sun ☀️ and work out).

This June, we're spending a full month with Master Dhyan Vimal moving in that direction. Inquiring into where we're still using ourselves as a weapon against the whole.
As Master says:
"I'm in the persuasion each wave must be individual, but it must not forget it's part of the ocean. For each wave is the ocean celebrating itself. Not using itself to separate itself from the ocean."
